1. Our aim

Peptique aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of building the Site, not a retrofit.

2. What the Site does today

Every page is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, including the researcher verification gate, the catalog, the buy card, the cart drawer and checkout. Focus order follows reading order and focus is visible.

Interactive controls carry accessible names and state. The strength, format and volume controls are real buttons that report their pressed state. The cart drawer and the gate are dialogs that trap focus and close on Escape.

Text sits on backgrounds that meet the AA contrast ratio, including black type on the champagne gold used for every call to action.

Images carry alternative text. Decorative elements, including the moving ticker, are hidden from assistive technology.

The Site respects the reduced motion setting in your operating system: animation and the moving ticker stop when it is on.

Layouts reflow to a single scroll direction down to 390 pixels wide with no horizontal scrolling, and text can be resized without loss of content.

3. Known limits

Certificate of Analysis documents are currently published as images. Until machine readable versions are available, write to us and we will provide the contents of any lot report in an accessible format.

4. Telling us about a problem

If any part of this Site is hard to use with your assistive technology, write to [SUPPORT EMAIL] with the page and what happened. We treat accessibility reports as defects and will tell you what we have done.
